Mediation and Conflict Transformation
Are you looking for support to deconstruct a conflict and move out of the old script of who’s right and who’s wrong? Are you ready to receive support to be heard for what matters to you, and to hear what truly matters to others? Sometimes the goal is simply to hear and rehumanize each other; other times call for heartfelt repair and new agreements that are more sustainable, inclusive and collaborative.
How I can help:
Slow down the conflict to uncover what really matters to each party behind any strategies that have arisen.
Support all parties to bring forward any hurt, distress or pain that lives in them in a way that is free from blame.
Support all parties to hear what's true for the other party/parties that is clear and free of character-defamation.
Support all parties in building communication skills and tools, if desired.
Facilitate acknowledgement and repair of impacts.
Guide the co-creation of new agreements for the relationship.
Who I work with: Divorced couples (often who are co-parenting), business partners, families, boards, organizations, neighbors, colleagues, and anywhere conflict arises.
Sessions: Mediation takes time and may be a one off, quarterly, or ongoing, depending on the relationship. Typically each session is 2-hours, and we may decide to meet for several sessions.

Things have been really great since our family mediation. Not perfect but it’s like something unlocked for my teenage daughter. She is less angry with me and is more open to communication.
